ABOUT US

Situated in the heart of English Rugby, the Twickenham Stoop provides bright and versatile conference & events space within easy access to both the M4 & M3 as well as central London via National Rail Services from Twickenham Railway Station.

This exceptional venue breaks the monotony of Hotel meeting spaces with its unusual setting and exciting surroundings. The large events team here at Harlequins thrive from a busy diary and are always on hand throughout your visit to make your day special.

BRIEF HISTORY OF THE STOOP

In 1963, we acquired what was then an athletics ground just over the road from the RFU’s ground in Twickenham. This became our training pitch and eventually, our home ground. Since then, a lot of work has been done to upgrade the stadium to a 14,800 capacity venue.

Known as the Stoop Memorial Ground up until its renaming in 2005 to the Twickenham Stoop, the stadium is named after former England International Adrian Stoop; a former Harlequins player who later became president of the Club.
